TEIL3 is a 3D printing workshop in Zurich, Switzerland, founded in 2012. Upload your model as STL, STEP or OBJ, choose material and process, and our quote calculator shows the price right away. We print the part ourselves, usually within a few working days, and you pick it up in Zurich-Altstetten or we ship it anywhere in Switzerland.

You need a digital 3D model as STL, STEP or OBJ. Upload it to the quote calculator and you see price and delivery time immediately; the first cubic centimetre of PLA costs CHF 14.55 including the setup fee. No model yet? Send us a sketch or photos with dimensions and we build the CAD file for you. Payment by Twint, credit card, PayPal or invoice.
We print single parts and small batches, typically 1 to 50 pieces. For larger quantities or unusual jobs, just ask.
Our workshop is at Vulkanstrasse 120, 8048 Zurich, in the Altstetten district, a few minutes from the train station. Pick up your printed part here or have it shipped by Swiss Post. For tricky parts a short conversation beforehand pays off: e-mail us or call, and we clarify material and feasibility before anything is printed.

In most cases we recommend PLA printed with FDM: dimensionally accurate, available in many colours, printable up to 1 m in length, and the cheapest option. For parts under mechanical or heat load there is PETG.
If you need fine detail or a smooth surface, SLA resin is the better choice. The trade-off: resin is more brittle and not meant for permanently loaded parts. For tough, mechanically loaded parts with complex geometry we use PA12 (SLS), which needs no support structures and prints up to 165 × 165 × 300 mm. The trade-off: PA12 (SLS) is only available in anthracite.

Architecture and landscape studios in Zurich have their competition and presentation models printed with us. For Studio Vulkan we produced model parts that can hardly be built by hand with this precision. Depending on the look you want, we print architectural models in PLA, painted white, or in SLS, and we recommend the process based on scale and level of detail.
The Zurich startup Zuriga has plastic parts for its espresso machines printed with us in small batches. 3D printing pays off here because geometry and quantity can be adjusted at any time without an expensive injection mould. Once a geometry is final, we reprint whenever production needs it.
